At ShoesDirect.ie, we pride ourselves on providing our customers with top quality footwear to suit their needs, which they can purchase from the comfort of their own home or indeed while on their daily commute.

*Delivery Terms

  • Covid-19 – As delivery providers are under a lot of pressure at the moment due to the current Covid-19 crisis, they have informed us that this may cause some delays in service. However, they are working to the very best of their ability to continue to deliver our packages within the timescale we mention above, but please bear with them if there are some slight delays.
  • Our courier, DPD, will deliver your parcel between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday – Friday.
  • The courier may use the contact number you provide to arrange delivery. If you are not in to accept your parcel, the courier may leave it with a neighbour, or in a safe place (i.e. hidden from sight and protected from the rain) if they think it is safe to do so. A calling card will be posted through your door to let you know this has been done.
  • If the parcel can’t be left in a safe place or with a neighbour, the courier will take it back to a local depot and leave a card telling you how to re-arrange delivery.
  • If the goods are damaged in transit, make sure to keep all packaging as this may be required when making any claim. It is incumbent on the customer to check the product and notify the company within 48 hours if there is any problem with the goods delivered.

Returns:

At ShoesDirect.ie we pride ourselves in delivering top quality shoes to our customers. However, if for any reason you are not 100% with your purchase, you may return the goods to us in accordance with our return policy, within 14 days of delivery.

To return your purchase:

  • Shoes must be unworn and in their original box or packaging. Damaged, soiled or scratched shoes can not be accepted.
  • Complete returns docket (included in your delivery) highlighting the reason for return. 
  • Place Returns Postage Label on the outside of the packaging and place the rest of the completed returns docket in packaging to return with the shoes. 
  • Post* your returns package to:

  • We’ll refund your payment as soon as we receive the shoes back. It normally takes in the region of 7 working days for the bank to process the refund.

*The return postage charge must be paid by the customer and this will not be refunded by the company unless the item is faulty. It is advisable that you insure the return parcel so it will be traceable as we will not be responsible for goods lost in the post. 

Important information regarding returns:

If a product is defective in any way, please return it immediately and we will either deliver a new one to you or refund you the cost of the product and original delivery cost. Any breakages or damages must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery. 

  1. We will willingly refund any UNUSED/UNWORN product returned within 14 days of the date of the receipt of your order, provided the product is successfully returned to us in unused, unworn, re-saleable condition, in its original packaging and with all tags and labels in place. 
  2. Refunds can only be credited back to the payment method that was used to place the order. 
  3. If any item that we deliver to you arrives damaged or is faulty, then we will happily replace the item for free or refund the item but we must be informed immediately.

HOW TO RETURN ITEMS IN IRELAND: 

  • Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt. 
  • To return the unwanted item please fill out the form highlighting which item you would like to return, using the relevant reason code provided. 
  • Return your items in the original packaging ensuring not to damage the shoe box. The item must be in its original condition, with all packaging materials, tags, labels and accessories intact. 
  • Cut out and affix returns address label above to package and return using one of the methods below:
  • Choose a Return Option from those listed below:

A) Returnmyshopping.ie: (Requires access to a printer) – Avg €4.50 per package

  • This method involves going to ReturnMyShopping.ie and following prompted steps as follows:Choose ShoesDirect.ie from dropdown menu
  • Select a reason for return
  • Enter your ShoesDirect.ie order number & complete address 
  • Accept Terms & Conditions, complete pay and print

B) DPD Returns: – €6.85 + Vat @ 23% = €8.42

To return via DPD PickUp Shop service:

  1. Contact ShoesDirect.ie on hello@shoesdirect.ie adding Request Return and Order Number in the subject bar
  2. You will then be contacted and instructed on how to return the item(s)
  3. This method involves receiving a label from ShoesDirect.ie to then apply to your parcel and present at your nearest DPD Pick Up Point – see map at shipping.dpd.ie/products-and-services/pickup-shops for over 600 locations

C) An Post – Standard €9 – Registered €13 (Registered post recommended)


N.B: Whichever return option you choose, we recommend you keep your receipt/proof of return and also select a trackable option as ShoesDirect.ie can only refund items that are successfully returned to us in a re-saleable condition.

HOW TO RETURN ITEMS FROM THE UK OR EU COUNTRIES: 

  • Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt. 
  • To return the unwanted item please fill out the form highlighting which item you would like to return, using the relevant reason code provided and include in the box.
  • Return your items in the original packaging ensuring not to damage the shoe box. The item must be in its original condition, with all packaging materials, tags, labels and accessories intact. 
  • Cut out and affix returns address label above to package and return the package through a reliable postal service within your country, ensuring the item reaches us in the best possible condition. The customer must cover costs associated with returning the item/items.
  • We recommend you keep your receipt/proof of return and also select a trackable option as ShoesDirect.ie can only refund items that are successfully returned to us in a re-saleable condition.

Cancellations:

We can cancel an order up until it is dispatched. If the order has been dispatched, you can return the goods to us and we will organise a refund (excluding delivery cost). To cancel an order email our help team directly at hello@shoesdirect.ie and quote your order reference number which you will find on your confirmation email.

OUTSIDE THE EU:

At this point we are not distributing to countries outside of the EU.
